Community is the Essence of Walk4Hearing

Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. Funds raised support HLAA’s national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Organizations, and alliances that help extend HLAA’s mission into local communities.

Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised $17.5 million to fund programs from more than 2,000 alliance organizations. We’ve welcomed 110,000 people at 304 Walks with participation from over 800 HLAA Chapter and State Organizations.

Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has:

304 Walk for hearing Walks
Raised over 17 million
Funded over 2000 alliances
Over 800 chapter and state Organizations participated

Participating in Walk4Hearing means joining thousands of people across the country who understand what it’s like to live with hearing loss. Hearing is an important part of overall health and Walk4Hearing calls on all of us to take action. By being active, engaged, and making hearing health a priority, people with hearing loss can live well.
