Are you a parent with a passion for making a difference? Or, a student looking for community service hours? Perhaps you are retired and looking for a great way to give back to your community?
Participating in the Walk4Hearing as a volunteer will place you alongside others who value hearing health and support our mission of raising awareness for hearing loss. You’ll join a team working to provide an inspiring Walk Day experience led by passionate Walk managers and chairs. When you welcome new teams at registration, see children making new friends with hearing loss, or encourage walkers to learn about local resources you’ll know you were part of the effort that made it all possible.
The opportunities that we have available are as follows:
The Walk4Hearing is an incredible event that needs an enthusiastic person to oversee its success. With the help and guidance of a Walk4Hearing Manager, the Walk Chair is responsible for leading the Walk Committee to meet event goals and objectives.
Roles include Walk treasurer/administrator, volunteer coordinator, marketing and communications coordinator, community outreach coordinator, and many others, depending on the needs of the specific walk location.
There is so much excitement around Walk Day and always a need for more helping hands. You can help with registration, distribute t-shirts, serve refreshments, and much more.
Thank you for your valuable assistance, we look forward to connecting with you! The manager of your selected Walk will be in touch with more information.
