Bringing hope to hearing loss.
The Hearing Loss Association of America’s (HLAA) Walk 4 Hearing is a nationwide event that is dedicated to educating individuals on the significance of hearing loss and hearing health, as well as supporting individuals living with hearing loss. The HLAA is partnered with 200+ alliances and 800+ HLAA chapter and state organizations. Partnering with HLAA and participating in the Walk 4 Hearing allows individuals to understand the impact that hearing loss has on lives, therefore encouraging individuals to bring hope to the hearing loss community.
The funds raised will support the Student Academy of Audiology chapter and the Child Speech Research Lab at the University of Illinois. The Student Academy of Audiology works to bring attention to the field of audiology and the Child Speech Research lab works with children with hearing loss to improve their speech understanding.
As the team captain, I am committed to positively impacting the lives of individuals with hearing loss. I am recruiting both family and friends to join my team and support me in reaching my fundraising goal. With your contribution to my team, we are assured of having the strength to provide awareness and support to the hearing loss community. Thank you in advance for your support!
