Did you know that one in seven Americans are living with hearing loss?
Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. It is about raising awareness, sharing an experience, connecting with the community and taking the first step toward better hearing health. Participating in the Walk means joining thousands of people across the country and right in our neighborhoods who understand what it’s like to live with hearing loss. And that's why Connecticut AG Bell is "stepping up!"
Connecticut AG Bell is committed to providing local families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing with opportunities to network with other families and professionals through social events and educational workshops across the state. We strive to provide our families with the support they need to become confident and successful advocates for their children and to empower all individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing to be their best, proud selves!
Can we count on you to step up for hearing health?
With your help, we will empower people to live well by providing vital resources, information, programs, and support services. Funds raised support HLAA, HLAA Chapters and State Organizations, and alliances like CT AG Bell, who extend HLAA’s mission into local communities.
