At Connecticut Children’s, we believe in going “beyond imagination” with our patients. We see children from across the state, from newborns to adolescents. Our audiologists have extensive experience identifying hearing loss in the pediatric population, providing guidance to families of children with hearing loss, and recommending appropriate care for hearing loss that may include the use of hearing aids and/or cochlear implants.

We are a family-centered facility that recognizes a child is more than just their ears! We believe in an innovative, caring, and empathetic environment. Our audiologists use imagination and creativity in all of our appointments in order to obtain a good patient experience.

Our goal is to help children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families gain the tools they need to communicate confidently and effectively.  That is why the Audiology department at Connecticut Children’s has become an alliance partner of the Walk4Hearing!  The funds raised from the Walk4Hearing support national and local efforts to raise awareness about hearing loss and empower hearing impaired individuals and their families.   

At Connecticut Children’s we are looking to replenish our loaner hearing aid program, which will be supported with your donation. Loaner hearing aids are provided to our patients on a short-term basis to maintain access to sound when their personal equipment is broken and needs to be sent out for repair. We are looking to add newer hearing aids to our loaner hearing aid bank, now that newer technology is available.
