10:45 a.m. Walk Starts – 5K/3.1 miles

• NEW LOCATION – Dunkin’ Donut Park, 1214 Main Street, Hartford who doesn’t love baseball? It’s June and baseball season!
• YARD GOATS – goat yoga, anyone? Maybe not yoga, everyone will get a chance to adore baby goats before the Walk.
• YARD GAMES – bring your competitive side to win a few yard games.
• APPEARANCES – get your camera out, Chompers and ChewChew will be joining!
• SMILE – bring your smile, we’ll have camera crews and you might be on the jumbotron!

Hearing Loss Association of America’s (HLAA) Walk4Hearing is a nationwide campaign that brings hope to people with hearing loss in 20 cities, joining them in their communities to raise awareness and show support. Teams of family and friends join with HLAA Chapters and nonprofit business partners to raise funds for local programs and promote hearing health.

As AHIHA’s team captain, I’ve joined HLAA’s community of support in action, to bring hope to people with hearing loss in their communities. Together, we can break down barriers to hearing health and show that people with hearing loss are not alone.

I’m gathering my family and friends to join my team and raise funds for hearing health and show support. Walk Day is an opportunity to meet others, join HLAA Chapters and connect with hearing care professionals and nonprofit partners committed to helping every person with hearing loss thrive.
