It appears that I'm getting pretty comfortable doing 5K Walks. In February I did a Walk in Florida to benefit the Myakka River Conservancy. It was a beautiful trail through an amazing forest of live oak, banyan, pine and palm trees.  AND - the special nature program on my new hearing aids allowed me to hear the bird song and flowing rivulets.  Thanks to HLAA, hearing assistive technology keeps me in the loop and preserves my quality of life.
