Thanks for coming to our page. We are Emerson (4) and Bennett (2). We both have Connexin 26 and received bilateral cochlear implants. Our hearing birthdays are both in September. We know sign language and use it with our parents and each other. Mom told Dad that he should create a team to support hearing loss and raise awareness, so that's what he did. This is our 2nd year with the Walk4Hearing, and we are excited to join the movement in Milwaukee!  We you can join our team and be an "E & B Hero?"

The Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. This years event is on May 21st. Funds raised support HLAA's national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Associations, and alliance organizations who help extend HLAA's mission into local communities.

The Walk4Hearing is about sharing an experience, learning from each other, making memories, and taking the first step toward better hearing health. Participating in the Walk means joining thousands of people across the country and right in our neighborhoods who understand what it's like to live with hearing loss. 

It all starts right here in my own community with generous people like you, who are willing to step up and support us.
