Hear ye, Hear ye!
We as Westchester parents, friends and friends of Westchester, walk in solidarity with all folks experiencing hearing loss, standing beside families as they journey through the challenges and successes of navigating a world alongside their children with hearing loss. The Hearing Loss Association of America’s (HLAA) Walk4Hearing is a national campaign that rallies support in over 20 cities, bridging communities and raising critical awareness.
HLAA stands as a beacon for the rapidly growing population in America with hearing loss, delivering education, advocating for rights, and empowering individuals. The increasing prevalence of hearing loss is becoming a significant public health concern, affecting one in every seven Americans. Yet, it often remains overlooked in discussions on comprehensive health and well-being.
Together with countless families like ours in Westchester and beyond, we have aligned with HLAA’s mission to renew hope for individuals with hearing loss in their communities. By uniting, we aim to dismantle barriers associated with hearing health, emphasizing that no one with hearing loss stands alone.
We invite our community, families, and friends to be part of our team, rallying support and funds for a cause that resonates with so many. Walk Day serves as a platform to build connections, interact with HLAA chapters, and engage with dedicated hearing care professionals and nonprofits, all striving to uplift every individual with hearing loss.
Join us in our commitment. Register today, and together, let's illuminate the path to better hearing health!
