Hello everyone!!! The past year has flown and the 2023 Walk4Hearing is coming really fast!!  I will again be walking with the "BEGINNINGS Team" at the North Carolina Walk4Hearing event that is going to be held on  Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the WakeMed Soccer Park located at 940 East Chatham Street in Cary, NC. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the Walk will begin at Noon. 

This year I am walking in memory of two people very dear to my heart.  I will be walking"In Memory of Gary Sarkozi", my sweetie who passed away suddenly in January, 2021 and was such a strong supporter of the Walk and loved helping those with hearing loss in any way he could.  I am also walking "In Memory of Pam Leonard Muns" my sister-in-law who recently passed away from Alzheimers at much too young of an age.  

When you support me in the Walk, you will be also supporting our "BEGINNINGS Team".  Your support will help us to continue to reach out to North Carolina families who have children who are deaf or hard of hearing.  BEGINNINGS serves thousands of families throughout our great state, not just at initial diagnosis but throughout age 21 as their needs change. The guidance and support provided by the BEGINNINGS' staff means that children get earlier intervention services which help them to prepare to learn effectively in school and gain the life skills needed to be successful. Each home visit costs BEGINNINGS an average of $500, yet BEGINNINGS' services, support, and information are FREE to these families. We really need your help and support to continue our vital mission to help so many families throughout our state. Your support is vital to their success!!!!
