What’s up guys Levi here,
I’m officially two years old and I promised my mommy and daddy I won’t put them through that thing you adults call the “terrible twos”! Anyways…I can’t believe I have had my hearing aids for over a year now and although they taste great, I have learned that they are best in my ears than in my mouth!
As you already know, I have bilateral mild to moderate sensorineural hearing loss and I was diagnosed with this when I was born. My family and I are so grateful that we had access to the newborn hearing screening and detected my hearing loss super early. We realize that some do not have this access and that’s why we walk to advocate and increase visibility of an otherwise invisible disability.
We will be participating again in the Walk4Hearing on Sunday, October 16, 2022, and hope that you could join us!
Location: The Navy Yard 4747 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112
- 9:00a.m. Registration Starts
- 10:30a.m. Stage Presentation
- 11:00a.m. Walk starts (5K/3.1 miles)
I hope to see you on our walk! If you can’t make it, please consider donating to my team: Levi’s League! Every penny helps and we appreciate you all!
Thank you so much!
WHERE THE FUNDS ARE DONATED:
The Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. Funds raised support Hearing Loss Association of America’s national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Associations, and alliance organizations who help extend HLAA’s mission into local communities.
The Walk4Hearing is about sharing an experience, learning from each other, making memories, and taking the first step toward better hearing health. Participating in the Walk means joining thousands of people across the country and right in our neighborhoods who understand what it’s like to live with hearing loss.
